Henry's nickname is Onion. He got this nickname when he ate an old onion- fourteen months to be exact- that the Old Man gave him. It wasn't suppose to be eaten and he was suppose to keep it for good luck. (23)
3. What was Henry’s rationale for
continuing to live a lie? Was it
justifiable?
j One of Henry's most frequent excuses to live a lie is that he is a prisoner. Multiple times he mentions how he did things he did not want to do, such as allude that he is a women. At first, this lie was justifiable at this point it is becoming creepy.

Questions 1 & 2 are answered well; however, you could have included more detail in question 3. What specific detail from the textbook could you have used to develop why Onion felt it necessary to lie?
